Online Training

Remember that the online continuing education providers nearly all have addiction-related training. Helping Patients Who Drink Too Much: A Clinician's Guide (NIAAA) NIH's NIAAA offers this booklet and online information to help clinicians screen and treat their at-risk patients. It provides training to help clinicians identify and counsel at-risk drinkers as well as treat individuals with mild to moderate alcohol dependence. While you're at it, you can offer clients a patient guide that is also available online or in booklet form.
