Personal or Mental Health Information
Because this site has mental health themes, users may be inspired to post or send personal information. Some will acquire mental health services from staff. We cannot be responsible for the viewing of any personal information you post publically.
However, we follow all applicable laws such as HIPPA when it comes to handling any information you provide to us privately if contracted as a client. This is a separate subject not addressed in this online privacy policy. It is provided to clients that contract for counseling services.
The information we collect
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form or post a comment, basically like just about every other site on the planet.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or optional information such as phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously (duh, like you probably are now).

How we protect your information

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
We are audited regularly by Trustwave as required by our bank. PsychInnovations does not even see your credit card info unless you place an order with us through some means other than our store, such as by phone, or if you drop your credit card on the floor.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and understand and save your preferences for future visits.
