Energy Diagnosis and Treatment Method (EDxTM) Training with Fred Gallo, Ph.D.: A Highly Developed Rapid Psychotherapy

I receive a nearly constant stream of communication from therapists discovering the value of the "tapping therapies" (which, by the way, don't require that you touch your client.) I am featuring Dr. Gallo's training after seeing him demonstrate and explain his work at the Power Therapy conference.
   Dr. Gallo provides a much richer training than I expect to see from other trainers in related approaches. I feel that TFT training spreads out the training with too much filler, and withholds information that Dr. Gallo gladly provides.
   Tapping therapies are reportedly safer and faster than EMDR, generally speaking, but can be integrated into therapy that includes EMDR to take advantage of both approaches.

EDxTM Described

EDxTM incorporates aspects of Applied Kinesiology, Meridian Therapy and Cognitive Therapy to efficiently treat psychological problems. Developed by Fred Gallo, Ph.D., this method provides a unique blend of Manual Muscle Testing to assist the therapist in tailoring verbal and patient-administered tactile treatments to rapidly alleviate psychological disturbances. Embedded in the empirically-supported assumption that a bodily energy system operates at the very essence of psychological health, EDxTM provides a means of easily assessing bioenergy disturbances.
Equipped with this information, the therapist is aided in applying precise treatments to efficiently alleviate the affective and cognitive components of the condition. EDxTM is a power tool that can be used alone or in concert with other approaches that you already employ. Presenter: Fred Gallo, Ph.D.

Fred P. Gallo, Ph.D., originator of EDxTM, has been a psychotherapist and psychologist for more than 27 years. He has specialized in neo-cognitive therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, EMDR, Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and a variety of energy-based therapies. Dr. Gallo is the original developer of the TFT Level 1 and Level 2 seminars that have been offered nationwide.
He is the author of many professional papers and articles that focus on TFT and other breakthrough therapies in publications such as The Electronic Journal of Traumatology, Anchor Point, and The Family Therapy Networker. He is also author of, Energy Psychology: Explorations at the Interface of Energy, Cognition, Behavior and Health, (CRC/St. Lucie Press, 1988).
Dr. Gallo has been training professionals in NLP, TFT and Energy Therapies since 1980.

PREREQUISITES

This training is available to mental health and allied health professionals. It is recommended that trainees possess a background in at least one of the energy-based therapies such as Thought Field Therapy or Emotional Freedom Techniques.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The California program is co-sponsored by T.A.A.P Training Institute (BBSE PCE #467) and Psychological Services. This course meets the qualifications for 13 hours of continuing education for MFCC's and/or LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
The Bethesda program is co-sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Clinical Training, Inc. (ICAT) and Psychological Services. IACT is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. ICAT maintains responsibility for the program.
This program is offered for 13 hours of CE credits. Psychological Services is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education credits for National Certified Counselors. Psychological Services adheres to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines. This course is approved for 13 hours of continuing education.

CANCELLATIONS

All tuition less a $75 administrative fee is refundable up to 15 days before the first day of the seminar. No refunds will be made after that period. However, the fee may be applied to a future Energy Psychologyä seminar.
